Few days back a young and Energetic officer of Sindh Government Hammad Khan posted as a Director Advertisement in District Municipal Corporation (DMC) East ,who has also assigned powers as a Co-signatory of Administrator DMC East due to the absence of Administrator.
While speaking with Daily City News Hammad Khan informed that he has posted in the Advertisement Department with aim of generating more revenue for DMC East and remove illegal advertisement sites.
However according to sources the newly posted Director also stopped involvement of outsiders /suspended officials in the departmental affairs , who were involved in corrupt practices by collecting money from the illegal advertisement sites owners.
Hammad Khan stated that, he is utilizing only DMC East staff in all the affairs of department and also issuing notices to the unpaid/illegal sites owners to pay the challan in bank and get approval of all advertisement sites from the department.
He also warned all the advertisers to fix advertisements as per law in case of violation it would be removed by the department without any delay.
Further he shared , He will discourage every corrupt practice in the department and would take action against official if anyone of them found guilty.
On the Question of utilizing the services of Rashid Baig a Senior officer of DMC East Advertisement Department , Director told that he is taking on board every official of department to achieve better outcomes for advertisement department.
