The District Education Office, Central, held its Annual Sports, Scouts & Girls Guide Awards Ceremony at Nazeer Hussain University, recognizing outstanding student achievements.
The District Education Office, a government institution, is dedicated to providing quality education and extracurricular opportunities, including sports, arts, and STEM programs, to help students showcase their talents.
The recent ceremony, organized in collaboration with PharmEVO Pvt Ltd and Nazeer Hussain University, featured MPA Sindh Adil Askari as the chief guest. Other notable attendees included Imtaiz Hussain Unar, District Education Officer, Central; Musharraf Ali Rajput, Chairman of the Sindh Technical Board of Education; Syed Akhtar Meer, Provincial Scouts Secretary; Naiz Hussain Buriro, District Education Officer, East; Prof. Dr. Masroor Ahmed, Vice Chancellor of Nazeer Hussain University; Rauf Imam, Business Manager of PharmEVO; Anas Uz Zaman, Assistant Brand Manager of PharmEvo; and Anwar Bhatti, Scouts Secretary.
Students presented a vibrant tableau in tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces.
Addressing the audience, Chief Guest Adil Askari emphasized the importance of education for Pakistani students and praised the District Education Office Central’s efforts to improve education and expand opportunities for students.
The chief guest, along with other distinguished guests, presented winner and runner-up trophies to students, accompanied by their headmasters/headmistresses and sports teachers.
Awards were also given to department staff in recognition of their valuable service throughout the year.
Furthermore, guests of honor presented tokens of appreciation to the Girls Guide team members and their trainer.
Tariq Ali, Deputy District Education Officer Central, and Imtaiz Hussain Unar, District Education Officer Central, delivered the vote of thanks to all participants.
