Administrator DMC East Shoaib Ahmed Malik, Municipal Commissioner Ghulam Sarwar Rahupoto said that after the rains, the flow of traffic has been restored by clearing roads including Nipa, Safari Park and Safoora.
They stated that, After the rains, every effort would be made to provide relief to the people, The officers and staff are still active and are playing their role to make things easier for the people.
Drainage on Shahrah-e-Faisal, Shahrah-e-Quaideen, Stadium Road, Tariq Road, Tipu Sultan Road, Tariq Road has been carried out on immediate basis.
Administrator Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab along with Deputy Commissioner East Asif Jan Siddiqui and others inspected Nipa University Road and issued instructions on the spot.
Mubeen Sheikh, Syed Azhar Hussain Shah, Executive Engineer M&E Imtiaz Bhutto, Executive Engineer B&R Iqbal Mallah, Salman Memon, Directors Tauqeer Abbas, Abdul Ghani Sheikh, Agha Sameer with the help of Machinery and De-Watering are playing their active role.
