In a swift move against unauthorized land use, the Karachi Development Authority (KDA) Land Management Department Director Asif Raza Chandio has issued a formal request for immediate action against illegal construction on government land in Block-6, Scheme-36, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Karachi.

According to an official letter (Ref: KDA/LM/Admn/2025/326), addressed to the Director (Estate & Enforcement) of KDA and the Senior Superintendent of Police (Karachi East), unscrupulous elements have been found engaged in illegal construction activities on public land without legal authorization.

The letter emphasizes that these encroachments violate property and land management laws and require urgent, coordinated efforts to halt the ongoing activities. Authorities have been asked to conduct a detailed site inspection and take necessary measures for the removal of encroachments.

The Director Land also calls for the registration of FIRs against individuals and groups involved in these illegal activities, and urges the submission of a compliance report at the earliest.

The matter has also been forwarded to key government figures including the Minister for HTP, Local Government Sindh, Addl.Chief Secretary Sindh, and various senior KDA officials.

Director Land KDA has reiterated his commitment to enforcing land management laws and safeguarding public property from unlawful occupation.
