Director General Sindh Building Control Authority Orders Immediate Demolition of Illegal Constructions
Karachi: Director General Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA), Abdul Rasheed Solangi, has issued strict directives to all District Directors, Deputy Directors, and Assistant Directors to demolish all illegal and unauthorized constructions across the city within one week.
The move comes in response to serious complaints received from the public, with particular focus on illegal constructions in District Central and East.
Mr. Solangi has emphasized that daily demolition actions should be carried out with full force, and reports of progress must be submitted to his office by 5 pm every day.
He further warned that any officer failing to complete the task within the given timeframe will face legal action.
The Director General has tasked Mr. Samit Ali Khan, Assistant Director General, and Mr. Khalid to oversee the operation in coordination with all District Directors and ensure compliance.
The operation is to continue until all unauthorized constructions are removed, with no compromises. The SBCA remains committed to ensuring lawful development in the city.
