The efforts of the retired officers and employees have helped the Karachi Development to move towards progress.

Director General Karachi Development Authority Naveed Anwar is taking all possible steps to stabilize the institution financially as well as to provide basic facilities to the officers and employees.

Recently, due to the efforts of the Director General of Karachi Development Authority Naveed Anwar, got approval of a one-time grant of 3 billion rupees and a grant for beautification of Civic center Karachi .

However the DG KDA issued orders that the summaries of both the grants should be immediately sent to Secretary Local Government and Secretary Finance Sindh.

These views were expressed by the Spokesperson of Karachi Development Authority, Akram Sattar, on the occasion of a dinner ceremony in honor of retired officers.
Member Finance Waryal Indhar attended the event as Chief Guest.

He further said that DG KDA is engaged in ensuring the payment of salaries and pensions to officers and employees on a regular basis.

There are chances that the institution will be able to regain its lost position in the near future, he added.

In the end, a bouquet of flowers and Sindh Cultural Ajrak and Topi presented to the former Spokesperson of the Development Authority Farman Shah and retired Deputy Director Finance and Accounts Mubeen, Director Accounts and Finance Nadeem Shabir, Account Officer Junaid Hamidi, officers and employees of Finance and Accounts and Public Relations Department attended the event.
