DG KDA Launches Digital Scanning System in Recovery Department to Enhance Transparency and Efficiency
On the directives of Sindh Minister for Local Government Saeed Ghani the Director General of Karachi Development Authority (KDA) Altaf Gohar Memon, formally inaugurated the document scanning process for digital files in the KDA’s Recovery Department.
The Recovery Department has successfully completed the process of computerization.
Now, the scanning of applicant files and other documents will begin, with QR codes being introduced to make file records easily accessible and verifiable.
Expressing satisfaction over the department’s digital system, DG Altaf Gohar Memon stated that the new system would bring about a significant 99% reduction in illegal activities and enhance transparency.
He also issued directives to expedite the full computerization of all KDA departments, especially the Land Department.
This move aims to increase the organization’s revenue sources and reduce financial challenges.
Later, the DG awarded shields and certificates of appreciation to officers and staff of the Recovery Department in recognition of their outstanding performance.
