The Eid-ul-Azha operation is going on in full swing in District Korangi, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali Zaidi and Transition Officer Rahmatullah Sheikh visited the areas to monitor overall situation, people who were involved in cutting offals on roads were arrested.
However, Landhi, Korangi model town chairmen, while in Shah Faisal Town Municipal Commissioner (TMC) Munir Ahmad Mangi, TMC Korangi Azizur Rahman, TMC Model Fahad Abbasi visited different areas from morning to evening to pick up offals from their respective areas. According to the details, Rehmatullah Sheikh Transition Officer DMC Korangi coordinated with the three town chairmen , TMC Shah Faisal and Solid Waste Management officers regarding the Eid ul Azha operation and also prepared a plan regarding it.
After meeting with the staff, a strategy was decided regarding the Eid-ul-Azha operation, due to which the situation has been under control for the first two days of the Eid-ul-Azha. All the Towns Chairman including Abdul Jameel Khan (Landhi), Naeem Sheikh (Korangi), Zafar Ahmad Khan (Model), TMC Shah Faisal Imtiaz Ahmad Mangi were busy in visiting the areas from morning to evening on all three days of Eid-ul-Azha. Meanwhile, Transition Officer Rehmatullah Sheikh was also supervising the works in different areas along with the concerned officials of Sindh Solid Waste Management Board Jamal Shah and Junaid Korai.
Residents of Korangi praised the efforts of Transition Officer DMC Korangi and all elected chairmen for ensuring picking up of offals on time for a clean environment.
