 Chairman Jinnah Town Rizwan Abdul Sami hold a media briefing regarding the transfer of Karachi’s historic heritage World Globe on New MA Jinnah Road. 
The Globe has a historical status which is a heritage of Karachi, It was built in 1964 as a beautiful gift to the people of Karachi by the then administration of Karachi.
It is the place where most  Films and songs were also filmed including a famous song Kemaadi from Bandar Road, but over time it fell into disrepair and destruction due to lack of maintenance and now this historical monument is being demolished due to the BRT line.
What is being done, the administration of Jinnah Town has decided with the permission of all the institutions that this historical heritage of Karachi should be shifted safely to another place for which Tikona Park opposite to Time Medicos on Stadium Road has been determined so that  Elders can show this historical heritage to their future generation and tell its history.
 For this work, Jinnah Town has hired a professional consultant who will prepare its feasibility and its route plan in this globe.
 It will be transferred from here while the transfer process will be done at night so that the people do not face any kind of problem.
 The weight of the globe will be around 60 tons for which heavy cranes will be hired.
 In the first process it will be moved and after the transfer it will be renovated.
 In the past there was also a monument of the names of Allah at Allahwala Chowrangi which was moved by the administration of the time but unfortunately it was removed.
He added that after the installation, the height of this globe will be about 20 feet and the color of this globe was light blue in the past, which should be repainted in the same color as well as they will try to show it in the geographical map of the world.
The changes that have taken place should also be highlighted in it.
