Karachi : Awami Tehreek Malir rallied against auction of Karoonjhar rock and it’s cutting led by Malir president Advocate Rustam Meerani, Iqbal Kalmati, Zubair Noonari, Bhooral Bheel and others.
Rally started from Razzaqabad National Park till National Highway and changed into sit-in, which was attended by the great number of party workers and residents of area.
Rally participants were grasping play cards and banners and had serious slogans loudly against Sindh Government.
On that occasion lead people of rally addressed participants that director of mines had issued tender for the auction and cutting of Karoonjhar mountain which was taken back after the pressure of public reaction but again the tender has been published in English newspapers which is disloyalty with Sindh and its public.
They said that already resources of Sindh have been possessed and occupied previous land but rulers want to raze Sindh by auctioning its mineral resources which public of Sindh will not allow to be occurred.
They said that they are about to start drive for the rescue of Sindh resources and sindh’s entity and they will take ownership of it what may happens.
They made aware government of Sindh by their protest rally that Awami Tehreek has done great efforts in past against wrong decisions of government and now it is already alert to start great drive against decision of auctioning and cutting of Karoonjhar rock that’s why they suggested sindh ruling party to take their decision back as soon as possible.
