Syed M. Shahid, PhD (Basic Health Science) is currently working as Senior Lecture & Research Supervisor, at Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT), Auckland, New Zealand. Dr. Shahid has also served as Programme Leader-Health at Aspire2 International and as Postdoctoral Researcher at FM&HS, University of Auckland. He has more than 15 years of health science research and academic administration experience in various institutions including KIBGE, University of Karachi. Dr. Shahid has edited 3 books and published 60 research articles in journals of international repute, supervised 4 PhDs and many postgraduate students in the field of health and disease and has presented his academic and research work at more than 60 national and international conferences, symposia and seminars.
