An informal meeting of crime reporters was held in Karachi, in which Senior Journalists Habib Jamali, Qamar Memon, Abdul Khaliq Mangi, Abdullah Solangi, Amir Suprio, Zaheer Sheikh, Najeeb Naich including others participated.
In the meeting, it was suggested that a forum for crime reporters should be formed at Sindh province level from Karachi to Kashmore, to solve the issues of crime reporters as well as to further improve their safety and professional skills.
Journalists gave various suggestions and also recommended to formally give the status of an organization to “Association of Crime and Investigative Reporters Sindh” , and it was decided to continue further meetings and consultations in this regard.
