The budget meeting of Safoora Town Municipal Corporation was held under the chairmanship of Chairman TMC Safoora Rashid Khaskheli.
He was accompanied by Municipal Commissioner Munawar Hussain Mallah including other officers and elected representatives.
In the meeting, a balanced budget of Rs 54.96 crore was presented in front of the Town Council for the financial year 2023-24, which has been approved unanimously, Rs 14.55 crore has been allocated for development expenditure, Rs 91.1 million for contingencies, Rs 77 million for maintenance expenditure and Rs 236 million allocated for establishment.
Speaking on the occasion,Chairman Safoora town Rashid Khaskheli said that all possible steps would be taken to equip Safoora Town with municipal facilities, efforts will be made that Safoora Town should be a town with all municipal facilities, the development budget will be increased in a phased manner.
As a team work we have to make Safoora Town the best town of Karachi for which all the elected local bodies representatives of Safoora Town should have to play their role.
