Pakistan Peoples Paramedical Staff organized a cake-cutting ceremony at the Director’s Office, Committee Hall, Jinnah Hospital Karachi to mark the birth anniversary of the great leader, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. The event was held to pay tribute to her unparalleled contributions to the nation.
The ceremony was graced by Senator Syed Waqar Mehdi (Assistant to the Chief Minister Sindh, General Secretary Pakistan Peoples Party, Sindh) as the chief guest. Former MPA Ms. Shamim Mumtaz and Advocate General Sindh Mr. Arshad Naqvi were also present at the occasion.
Addressing the participants, Senator Waqar Mehdi said that Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was a visionary leader, a patriot, and a saviour of the nation.
He highlighted how Mohtarma dedicated her entire life to the service of Pakistan and its people, never hesitating to sacrifice for the country’s progress and prosperity. He said her ultimate sacrifice, returning to Pakistan despite grave dangers, is a shining example of her love and commitment to the nation.
The event concluded with enthusiastic slogans of Jeay Bhutto and Jeay Benazir, echoing the spirit of her mission.
The ceremony was organized under the leadership of Asadullah Samtio (Provincial President), Ameer Ali Deenari (Sindh Information Secretary), Hassan Pathan (Senior Vice President Karachi), Lal Jan Baloch (General Secretary Karachi), Sajid Iqbal Mughal (President Jinnah Unit), Muhammad Amir (Vice President Karachi), Syed Asif (District Korangi Coordinator to Ameer Ali Deenari), and Sana Kausar (Senior Worker, District Malir).
