A significant General Workers Meeting was organized by the Promotion Action Committee at the Najmuddin Auditorium, Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), Karachi. The event witnessed a large turnout of health workers and employees from the hospital.

During the meeting, the Promotion Action Committee officials held detailed consultations with the workers and took them into confidence regarding the future course of action. Key issues such as 100% promotion, time scale, Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC), and seat adjustment were discussed at length.

All health employees expressed strong trust in the Promotion Action Committee and pledged their full support, echoing slogans in solidarity with the committee’s leadership.

As per the unanimous decision of the committee and workers, a protest demonstration was also held near the Director’s Office.

The committee’s representatives met with the Director of JPMC and conveyed the workers’ concerns regarding promotion, time scale, and DPC.

The JPMC Director responded positively and assured the committee of a commitment to resolving all outstanding issues, including promotions.
