Karachi: The Blood Donors Group of Societies organized two blood donation camps in the city on Sunday, providing an opportunity for individuals to donate blood and contribute to saving lives.

The first blood donation camp, held at Nanak Wara area in collaboration with Agriya Jamat Khana and the second was organized with the help of Zia Welfare Association at Mominabad Site area, saw an impressive turnout of over 200 young donors.

The President of Agriya Jamat Khana Asif Iqbal, President of Shaheen Shildon Muhallah Committee, Naimatullah Khan, Nawaz Taj and Zakir Khattak of Zia Welfare have supervised the camps.

They thanked their community youths for participating in the noble cause, stating that they have donated the blood for the sake of humanity. They also quoted Quran verse “And whoever saves a life it is as though he had saved the lives of all mankind”.

Meanwhile Blood Donors Group of Societies has said that the blood camps will be continued in the various parts of the city in collaborations with different societies and welfares.
