Successful operations underway to restore complete law and order in Northern Sindh: Sukhdev A. Hemnani

In a bid to restore complete law and order in the province, the Sindh Government continues successful operation in the Northern Sindh, including in districts Ghotki, Kandhkot-Kashmore & Shikarpur against the dacoits operating from katcha areas of the region.

In a statement, Spokesperson to Government of Sindh, Sukhdev Assardas Hemnani applauds the efforts of Sindh police and other LEAs in conducting operation against dacoits.

He stated that the police along with Rangers & other LEAs are carrying out successful operation to eliminate dacoits and criminal elements in Northern Sindh. Resultantly, suspects and members of active dacoit gangs have been arrested from District Ghotki, he added.

Sindh police is also seizing ammunition and has intensified operation to stop arms smuggling to the katcha dacoits, stated Spokesperson.

He shared that due to vigilant and timely action by Sindh police, many attempts at kidnapping and robbery have been foiled recently including the one at M-5 motorway.

Shedding light on the previous successes of the police, Sukhdev Hemnani highlighted that in past two years, Sindh police saved more than 950 citizens from being honey trapped in successful intelligence based operations, 616 dacoit were arrested and 103 killed, while 35 policemen were martyred in the line of duty.

Sindh Government has also ordered modern weapons and vehicles for the police that shall be handed over to the police force very soon, he added.
