Chief operating officer (COO) of Lahore Qalandars, Sameen Rana, refuted claims made by former Pakistan captain, Shahid Afridi, regarding Shaheen Shah Afridi’s health.

Sameen has come forward to debunk these rumors and reassure fans and supporters that Shaheen is in good health.

Regarding Afridi’s health, Rana stated that we have been closely monitoring him and are happy with his current condition.

“After every match, news starts spreading about Shaheen being unwell. Shaheen is completely fine, and if he isn’t, we will be the first to rest him,” he said.

Previously, former Pakistan all-rounder, Shahid Afridi, revealed that Lahore Qalandars’ captain, Shaheen Shah Afridi, played the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season eight Qualifier against Multan Sultans despite suffering from fever.

“Shaheen has been suffering from fever for the last couple of days, and he also played yesterday’s match with a fever,” said Shahid.

“If you have a fever, then I don’t think you should play, but he [Shaheen] wanted to win the match and then rest until the final,” he added.

Reminder for all is that Shaheen-led Lahore Qalandars will meet Multan Sultans in the final of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season eight today at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
