In commemoration of Youm-e-Takbeer and to pay tribute to the sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces, a friendly cricket match was organized between the teams of KDA IT Department and SBCA.
The match began with KDA IT Department’s captain, Mujahid, winning the toss and opting to bat first. The KDA team posted an impressive total of 233 runs without losing a single wicket. Nasir Siddiqui and Osama were the standout performers, scoring 101 and 100 runs respectively.
In response, the SBCA team put up a strong fight, scoring 215 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. Umair from the KDA IT team took two crucial wickets during the second innings.
Ultimately, KDA IT Department emerged victorious by a margin of 18 runs.
At the conclusion of the match, Member Administration and Director Finance KDA, Mr. Shakeel Siddiqui, along with Senior Director IT, Mr. Nasir Khan, presented awards to the century-scoring players in recognition of their outstanding performance.
The event was further graced by the presence of Additional Director Recovery Syed Arif Shah and former cricketer Syed Noor-ul-Haq Azhar, who attended as special guests.
