Karachi; Administrator DMC East, Syed Shakeel Ahmed said that district East is moving towards improvement in a phased manner, improving the network of roads and streets in district east and ensuring provision of other municipal facilities.
He expressed these views while inspecting the construction works of roads and streets in PIB Colony UC-19 along with Focal Person Imtiaz Bhutto, Director Tauqeer Abbas, Executive Engineer Jamal Abbas and Deputy Director Irshad Ali.
He said that development works are now being carried out in that areas where people were awaiting for development works for a long time, efforts are being made to give long-life development projects to the people for which all possible steps are being taken.
After inspecting the development works, he inspected three roundabouts in Sharafabad and instructed the officers present that the Roundabout are an important source for increasing beauty, so proper arrangements should be made for their maintenance, watering process should be carried out including cleaning of roundabout daily. He inspected Ismail Nainital, Medicam and Sharmila Farooqui roundabouts.
