Rafia Javed Mallah Registrar Directorate of Inspection & Registration of Private Institutions Sindh (DIRPIS) issued directives all Principals /Administrators of privately managed schools as well as The Director Regional Directorate of Inspection & Registration of Private Institutions of all over province for the implementation of Corporal Punishment Act in all the schools of Sindh Province.
In a letter issued on Wednesday Rafia Javed Mallah stated that Government of Sindh through the provincial assembly of Sindh has passed the “Sindh Prohibition of Corporal Punishment Act 2016”.
In this regards School Education & Literacy Department Government of Sindh has framed Rules under the provision of the said act.
Moreover, The said rules has been circulated along with this directive to all privately managed institutions for strict implementation of Corporal Punishment Act.
Whereas it was mentioned in a letter that, In case of any incident is take place in any school action will be initiated under the subject rule.
