KARACHI:(APP) As many as 12 suspects were arrested by the Kalakot police inculding drug dealers and Gutka/Mawa sellers from different parts of the Lyari during last week.
The police has recovered 66 kilograms betel nuts, 520 small packets of Gutka/Mawa, 1100 gram hashish, 220 gram opium, 3 snatched cell phones, stolen motorbikes, making and packaging material said Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) City Sarfaraz Nawaz Shaikh on Saturday.
The arrested accused are identified as Babul, Zohaib, Asif, Anas, Abdul Hafiz, Abdul Razak, Jawaid Ghanchi, Rashid, Sajjad Khan, Muhammad Waseem and Asif.
The police registered FIRs and further investigation is under way.
