The Young Doctors Association (YDA) Sindh has strongly condemned the corruption and mismanagement within the Finance and Research Department of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP).
In a statement issued today, Dr. Mehboob Noonari, Chairman of YDA Sindh, alleged that certain individuals within the department are involved in financial misconduct and malpractices. He further stated that these individuals are unfairly blaming CPSP candidates for their own failures, impacting innocent students.
Dr. Noonari expressed his complete opposition to these actions and urged the President of CPSP to take immediate action to ensure that students are not penalized for the incompetence of a few individuals.
He demanded full accountability for everyone involved in these dishonest activities.
The statement warned that YDA Sindh will not hesitate to take strong measures to protect students’ rights. “Whether it means organizing a strike or pursuing legal action with our legal team, we are ready to take whatever steps necessary,” Dr. Noonari declared.
He emphasized that YDA Sindh will hold not only the individuals in the Finance Department accountable but also its head.
“If these issues are not addressed without delay, we will make sure those responsible face the consequences of their actions,” he concluded.
