The Young Doctors Association (YDA) JPMC commends Professor Chooni Lal esteemed Psychiatrist and Head of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at JPMC, for his exemplary commitment to justice and truth.

Professor Lal’s recent report in the case involving Natasha, who is accused of killing a man and his daughter in a tragic car accident, has brought forth a crucial revelation.

Natasha, who initially claimed to be suffering from mental illness and psychosis to evade legal responsibility, was thoroughly examined by Professor Chooni Lal.

His expert assessment has determined that Natasha shows no signs of mental illness, and her claims have no substantial evidence. Despite attempts by her family to portray her as mentally unstable, Dr. Lal’s findings have upheld the truth.

YDA JPMC also appreciates *Dr. Mehboob Noonari* *President Human Rights Council of Pakistan* Sindh and *Chairman YDA Sindh* for raising voice on this issue.

This case now rests in the hands of the judicial system, where we trust that justice will be served based on the facts presented. Professor Chooni Lal’s dedication to ethical medical practice has not only reinforced the integrity of the medical profession but has also shown that humanity and justice still prevail in our country.

The Young Doctors Association stands firmly behind Professor Chooni Lal and the principles of fairness and accountability that he has demonstrated. We urge the court to consider his professional insights as they move forward with their proceedings.
