Watan Parast Labour Union KDA Patron in Chief Syed Imran Hussain Jafri announced for the protest in all over Civic Center Karachi on Tuesday 14th January .
Syed Imran stated that the Watan Parast Union would stage protest for non payment of employees monthly salaries, non payment of pension & funds, deduction from salary on the name of thumb impression and now by a conspiracy management has banned rehiring of Contract employees which is equal to the economical assassination of employees and their families.
He expressed that the Watan Parast Union would not let management do the implementation of ban on Re-hiring of Karachi Development Authority contractual employees.
Moreover Syed Imran alleged that By sacking contract employees on the name of financial burden a political party want to give jobs to their Activists which would be the injustice with the existing contract employees.
KDA Watan Parast Labour Union Patron In Chief informed that contract employees have got permanent status in various departments of Sindh Government but in KDA the management is firing the contract employees, which would also raise the unemployment.
He also termed Work Charge Scrutiny Committee a wastage of time, which has done nothing.
We have raised the issue gradually by press statements, by submission of requests to the office of Director General KDA but unfortunately the said issue has ignored in recent session of KDA Governing Body, he added.
Syed Imran Hussain stated that now the Union would stage peaceful protest which is a lawful right and warned to stage Protest in front of Karachi Press Club if the issue would not resolve.
However he said the Watan Parast Union is also filing petition in court for the redressal of said issue.
Watan Parast Labour Union stance is clear that we would not tolerate any injustice with the employees.
