KDA Watan Parast Union cooperated with the current management of Karachi Development Authority with patience for the redressal of employees issues but despite resolving issues has increased, Syed Imran Hussain Jafri Patron in Chief of the Union shared these views.
He stated that closure of medical facilities, delay in payment of salaries, non-hiring of contract and work charge employees and the continuous pressure of workers is the sign of grand protest.
Imran Hussain asked workers for preparation of grand protest. We cannot not wait more , he added.
It was learned that an emergency session of Watan Parast Union held under the supervision of Imran Hussain Jafri to discuss the issues of employees.
He said that all employees are looking on Watan Parast Union PSP and the issues of employees are stand still specially workcharge employees whose hiring issue of scrutiny committee is pending from more than two years.
Watan Parast Union has shared the issues with Minister Local Government and DG KDA Asif Ikram but none of the issue resolved, he added that as a registered trade union we have right to protest and would reserve the right of protest if the issues has not resolved.
Whereas Union’s panel has stressed workers for the preparation of grand protest which would held after the approval of Central Labour Federation of PSP.
