KDA Watan Parast Labour Union organized an event on the theme of “Freedom of Journalism award” on thursday 28th January 2021 at Civic Center Karachi to appreciate the contribution of Journalists for the betterment of society.
Shabbir Qaim Khani Vice Chairman Watan Parast Labour Union, Nadeem Khan Incharge Labour Federation Pakistan of Pak Sarzameen Party, and Syed Imran Hussain Jafri Patron in Chief of Watan Parast Union presented honorary shields to journalists.
Whereas best performance of the year Sheild had given to Senior Journalists Johar Majeed, Maha Faroqui and Mr Zia. Shabbir Qaim Khai and Incharge Labour Federation Pakistan were the chief guest of event, However Senior Journalist Makhdoom Adil, Imran Ali Shah, Junaid Baghdadi, Abid Abbasi,Maha Faroqui, Syed Imran Ali Shah, Aziz Arif and large number of journalists from print and electronic media were present on the occasion and awarded the honorary sheilds from Watan Parast Union.
Speaking with Journalists Nadeem Khan Incharge Labour Federation shared that, Media is the strongest pillar of state, we feel proud to appreciate the efforts of journalists.
Whereas Shabbir QaimKhani sated that Journalists highlight the issues of society by putting their lives at risk.
Syed Imran Hussain Jafri said that the Watan Parast Union has started this new trend in KDA to appreciate the efforts of journalists every year, he vowed that the tradition of appreciating the work of Journalists would remain continue.
Moreover Watan Parast Union Office Bearers Information Secretary Yasir Ali Khan including the chief guests presented sheilds to the top officials of Karachi Development Authority including Secretary KDA , Director I.T , Chief Engineer and other officers.
