Surjani Cricket Club & Emaaz Enterprise Combined defeated Student CC by 7 wickets in their fourth T20 clash at the Shadab Ground on Friday.
This is the 1st victory of the Surjani Cricket Club & Emaaz Enterprise Combined Muhammad Arij who could not shine with the ball today despite picking wickets, made up for it as he led his side to victory with a six and two boundaries.
Right off the bat, Surjani Cricket Club & Emaaz Enterprise Combined
landed in hot waters as they lost openers Emaaz Siddiqui (2) and Mohsin (3) in the first and third over respectively.
Syed Naveed (35), Anas (87), Shoaib (30), Hassan (35) & Maaz (27) gave the team some stability until the latter got out in the eighth over. Anas held the ground and scored a quick half-century off 31 balls. He struck four boundaries and two sixes.
Muhammad Shahzaib stood out among his peers as he picked 25-2 in his three overs.
