Meeting held at Deputy Commissioner Office Shikarpur on Wednesday to review the security arrangements regarding Muharram ul Haram.
Addressing to a session Dr. Rizwan Ahmed Khan SSP Shikarpur shared that from today snap checking has been started on entrance and exit points of Shikarpur.
Whereas he informed police has initiated a crackdown against absconders and strict vigilance of hotels has also been started.
Speaking about the security arrangements SSP stated that he is monitoring the arrangements of security by himself and also visiting Imam Bargah’s.
Moreover he shared a plan for fixing of more CCTV cameras to make the security arrangements fool-proof.
A press statement issued by PRO of SSP Shikarpur said, DC Shikarpur Raheem Baksh Metlo & DSR Rangers Faryad Gujjar has also share their plans to maintain law n order situation during religious gathering in Muharram-ul-Haram.
Large number of clerics and members of civil society were also present on the occasion.
