Spotify has announced that it will be increasing its price for premium subscription. In the US the company is increasing its price by a dollar for all of its plans, except Premium Duo, which is going up by two dollars.

Prompted by competition with Apple Music, YouTube Music and Amazon Music, Spotify increased their premium plan from $10 to $11 for single subscription. The Premium Family and Student plans will also go up to $17 and $6.

While the Spotify blog didn’t indicate any price increase in Pakistan, we can’t be sure what changes there might be in the coming months. The music streaming platform says it will inform users via email how much their bill go up and when it will happen.
