A case of Corona(COVID-19) was confirmed in an Inspector rank official of Sindh Police who is serving in Investigation department of District South, said a press statement issued by Central Police Office(CPO) on friday.
He was taken to Indus Hospital few days ago on getting Fever and Cough,where his Labs were sent and he was tested positive today, it added.
Moreover it was mentioned on the press statement that, He is under intensive care presently and All of his contacts including family members and colleagues are being monitored.
Due care is being taken of him in the Hospital, IGP Sindh has directed to take all possible measures to screen out his contacts and ensure all precautionary measures for the purpose, said a press release.
Besides that South Police and Welfare Branch of Sindh Police shall take all steps for the welfare and care of the Patient according to Welfare and Healthcare package of Police, it added.
