Sindh Minister for Excise & Taxation and Narcotics Control Department & Parliamentary Affairs Mukesh Kumar Chawla has reiterated to curb the menace of narcotics across the province and has said that no one will be allowed to indulge in this heinous crime of selling drugs.

This he said while issuing directives to the officers of Sindh Excise & Taxation and Narcotics Control Department.

He said that it had been observed that the sale of drugs especially chars and heroine had gone high in certain parts of the province and now it was high time to take strict action against drug peddlers without any fear or favour.

He directed the officers to mobilize Excise and Narcotics staff against drug peddlers and no lethargic attitude would be tolerated in this regard.

Provincial minister for Excise & Taxation and Narcotics Control Department & Parliamentary Affairs Mukesh Kumar Chawla added, ‘ It is our prime duty to protect our new generation from the use of the drugs and for this noble cause all stakeholders should come forward and help out Sindh Government in creating awareness on drugs’.

He said that Sindh Excise & Narcotics Control Department has been taking effective measures against drug peddlers and discouraging the use of narcotics among young generation.
