Shahrah e Faisal Police team along with Sindh Rangers on Friday busted most wanted criminal of Gilgit Baltistan nominated in the cases of terrorism and murder.

Top Officials of Sindh Police praised the efforts of SHO Shahrah e Faisal Police Station Iftikhar Arain including all police personalls who were involved in foiling an expected terror attack on 12th Rabi ul Awal.

It was revealed that , Gilgit Baltistan Government fixed 10 lac rupees head money reward on him as he was nominated in heinous crimes .

As per details an accused namely Syed Yasir Abbas arrested during a snap checking at Pehalwan Goth Near Habib University on the way of 12th Rabi ul Awal procession.

Police and Rangers stopped suspect hanging school bag on the way of procession ,where they found one SMG with 10 live bullets and hand grenade from his bag .

It was learned that Shahrah e Faisal Police was already on alert as per the directives of IG Sindh, DIG and SSP East and in this successful action they have foiled an expected terror attack.

Sources informed that during interrogation police learned that the arrested person is a resident of Gilgit Baltistan and was already booked in Airport Police Station of Gilgit Baltistan.

However arrested person booked under FIR Number 749/20 under Section 4/5 Ex Act R/w 7-Anti terrorism act and FIR Number 750/20 under section 23(1)a Arm Act in Shahrah-e-faisal Police Station.
