Minister Information Sindh,Saeed Ghani along with Special assistant of C.M Sindh district east Iqbal Saand and others, chaired a meeting of officers of civic bodies and sought details about the work being done by them regarding expected rains.
He said that the civic bodies which it is the responsibility to play a fully dynamic role for up coming rains,in case of heavy rains,all possible steps must be taken.
He enquired about the various points of the district east where there were complaints of water logging and directed that officers provide services in terms of their fields without committing negligence,make sure that public does not face any difficulty in rains.
Executive Engineer M&E, D.M.C East Imtiaz Bhutto informed him that de watering pumps have been installed at at places where water had accumulated in previous rains by the orders of D.M.C East Higher Authorities.
Deputy Commissioner East,Asif Jan Siddiqui, Administrator d.m.c east, Shoaib Ahmed malik and Municipal Commissioner G.Sarwar.Rahpoto and others briefed them on the work being done in connection with the expected rains and assured him that steps would be taken to provide relief to the residents of district east as possible.
However Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani, Special assistant Iqbal Saand and others visited and inspected the storm water drain,chronic points of various areas and issued necessary orders on the spot for betterment.
In the meeting and visit deputy commissioner east Asif Jan Siddiqui, Administrator d.m.c east Shoaib Ahmed Malik, M.C, Ghulam Sarwar Rahpoto, former uc vice chairman Lala Raheem, officers of d.m.c east and officers of other civic agencies accompanied with them.
