PTCCS inks LoI with Liaquat College of Liaquat College of Medicine and Dentistry (LCMD) and the Provincial Tobacco Control Cell Sindh (PTCC), Directorate General Health Services Sindh, signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to combat tobacco use within the province.
This collaboration will prioritize public awareness campaigns to educate communities, particularly the youth, on the risks associated with tobacco use. The initiative’s overarching goal is to foster a tobacco-free future for the next generation of Pakistanis.
The signing ceremony took place with esteemed representatives from both organizations in attendance.

Tanveer Qaimkhani Provincial Coordinator, Provincial Tobacco Control Cell Sindh, Principal Professor Dr Navid Rashid Qureshi, College of Dentistry Senior Faculty Members Professor Dr Tahera Ayub, Prof Dr Uzma Zareef,Dr Tauseef Ahmed ,Dr Afshan Faizan and Dr Samir Azeem.
Speaking on the occasion Provincial Coordinator PTCCS stated that, this partnership represents a pivotal step in the ongoing efforts to reduce tobacco use in Sindh. Principal LCMD saud that, Together, we aim to empower communities by equipping them with the knowledge and resources needed to make informed health decisions.
At last letter of intent signed by Principal LCMD and Provincial Coordinator PTCCS, in LCMD shows commitment to support PTCCS in raising awareness regarding tobacco use Hazards and its impacts on human health.
