The Sindh Public Higher Secondary School, Umerkot, organized a seminal seminar on “Interfaith Harmony: Strategies for Teachers to Promote Understanding and Compassion on Saturday at 10:30, on 23 -11-24.

This enlightening program aimed to educate students, parents, and teachers about the pivotal role of interfaith communication in fostering peace, tolerance, and educational excellence.

 

The seminar was graced by the esteemed presence of Rafia Javed Mallah, Additional Director of Private Schools, Karachi, as the chief guest. Her comprehensive address offered invaluable insights and guidance on promoting interfaith harmony.

 

Principal Ghulam Mustafa Bhatti delivered the introductory remarks, while Jai Ram Das expressed the vote of thanks. The event drew a large and enthusiastic audience.

 

The Board of Governors, comprising Abdul Khalique Chandio, Ahmed Ali Khaskheli, and Mumtaz Panhwar, actively participated in the seminar. Special guests included Gulab Rai, Deputy Director of the College Department, and Abdul Rauf Soomro, Principal of the Government Boys College, Umerkot.

The Regional Director Abdul Hadi Dawoodputa has participated this seminar as a guest of Honour. He quoted Hazarat shah Abdul Latif Bhattai’s poetry on interfaith harmony. He highlighted this issue in depth.
