In an attempt to mount pressure on the federal government, more legislators from the Pakistan Peoples Party submitted their resignations to PPP chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday.

A day before Pakistan Democratic Movement is set to hold its power show in Lahore, Member Sindh Assembly Liaquat Ali Askani tendered his resignation, addressed to the Sindh Assembly speaker, to chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari . In the 2018 general election, Askani was elected as Member Provincial Assembly Sindh from the PS-112 constituency in the district west.

He added that due to the incompetency of the federal government the ratio of inflation is increasing day by day, the things of basic needs are out of control, and people are living under the line of poverty therefore this government is the only risk to the sovereignty of our country and its need to end immediately.
