Around 1400 candidates appeared for the Pharm-D Entry Test at Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) on Friday.

The test was administered after a delay as Covid 19 restrictions were placed on educational institutions earlier.

Several test sites were set up on campus where seats were allotted at recommended distances.

Candidates wearing masks were allowed in after checking body temperatures and using the provided hand sanitizer.

Vice Chancellor Prof Syed Muhammad Tariq Rafi explained that interview portion of selection process has been scrapped this year to minimise gathering and exposure according to Covid-19 SOPs.

The Director Admissions Noman Ahsan said that results will be announced in the next week.
