KDA Labour Union celebrated Pakistan’s Defence Day with zeal and enthusiasm.On the occasion union organized prayers ceremony at Qayyum Mosque KDA Civic Centre Karachi.
Muhammed Ashraf Patron in Chiefof Labour Union, Qamar uz Zafar President, Rafiq Abbasi including large number of union’s members and employees of Karachi Development Authority were also present on the occasion.
Whereas DG KDA Asif Ikram attended the event as a chief guest.While Speaking on the occasion DG KDA stated that we got this country by a long time struggle and history would always remember the 6th September 1965 sacrifice of Pakistan’s Armed Forces.
He informed that Pakistan Air Force gave sacrifice on that day for the sovereignty of country.
Whereas Labour Union Patron in Chief Muhammad Ashraf said that the sacrifices of our Armed Forces political and religious leaders sacrifices are way forward for our young generation.
He asked all participants to pledge on this day to always stand for the defence of country.
Muhammad Ashraf said we would struggle for the prosperity of country and would pledge on this day to work for the prosperity of country by collective efforts.
At last Cleric of Mosque prayed fatheha for martyrs.
However Chairman Labour Union expressed grief over the demise of Minister Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah mother.
