Hisaar Foundation and Sujag Sansar Organization, together with support from other organisations, have commenced with flood relief activities in village Khair Muhammad Mugheri, Lal Bux Lund and Wahid Khoso.
This is the first time that these marooned communities have been served with food, health and hygiene packs. These remote communities could only be reached by boats.
Ms Simi Kamal, Chairperson Hisaar Foundation, said that Dadu District is most affected District in Sindh and therefore we have started distribution of relief items in Dadu district.
She pledged that Hisaar Foundation will continue to work with these same remote communities in recovery and rehabilitation over the next two years, together with Sujag Sansar.
Mashooque Birahmani, CEO Sujag Sansar, said that Sujag Sansar being a local organization was able to reach the flood affected people immediately.
Bith Hisaar Foundation and Sujag Sansar have experience of reached out to flood affected during 2007, 2010, 2011, 2020, 2021 and current 2022 floods.
