Newly appointed CEO of Steel Mill Shuja Hussain had introductory meeting with Steel Mill’s Labor Union Leaders here on yesterday.
He talked with them on that occasion that he has not come to restore Pakistan Steel Mill and not even for CBA election but he has been appointed as CEO of Steel Mill to re-arrange resources of department in order stand it on its place so if he will be said for employees categorization and negative work then he will not be agree to do such type of things any how and if he is not satisfied regarding his work then he will leave the post with in two months.
He further said that he is responsible for corruption, NAB cases, arrests and scarcity in national department sealed Pakistan Steel since 2015 but will accept responsibility of how much he will stay on his post.
He expressed his sorrow and said that nation had proud on Steel Mill in the past and when ever he came to see Steel Mill he felt happy and raised his head high in pride but political leaders have destroyed Steel Mill and now it feels shame to see the condition of of Steel Mill.
He said he is thankful to Sindh High Court which has taken steps for the liabilities of employees and will be paid soon in his presence to employees.
More over he said to labor union’s leaders that support him and suggest him good ideas so that he can overcome on dangerous dearth with their mutual support.
On that occasion Union leaders PPP representative Mirza Tariq Javed, Syed Hamid-u- Allah, PTI CBA leader Abdul Waheed Soomro, Mirza Maqsood, Yaseen Haider, Nazir Jan Khaksar, Akbar Ali Narejo, PASLO leader Haider Gabol and others welcomed Newly appointed CEO and asked him to resolve the issues of employee’s salaries, liabilities, promotions, residency and others.
They told him that if he becomes successful to solve employees valid problems then they will fully support him.
