The National commission of Human Rights (NCHR) Member Sindh Anis Haroon in a Press Statement stated that, NCHR as a State institution is perturbed on increasing cases of Human Rights Violation. A horrible case reported today at Naukot District Mirpurkhas where two women including a minor girl was abducted stripped off, paraded and raped.
The NCHR Sindh is in touch with SSP Mirpurkhas Retired Capt M. Asad Choudhry who has reportedly arrested 12 people nominated by the victim’s family. He also informed that FIR has been registered under ATA.
The commission has also shown serious concern on this disgraceful incident and urged the IG Sindh to take severe action against the accused persons.
