Municipal Commissioner DMC East Karachi Shoaib Ahmad Malik has said that all the departments are working together to improve the district.
He said that every department should play its vital role in resolving the issues.
Municipal Commissioner East expressed these views while addressing at the performance meeting of the DMC (District Municipal Corporation) East officers.
Moreover he shared that the Improvement of District is the first priority.
It would not be out of place to say that due to the strong interconnectedness of each other, district east is at the forefront in terms of providing municipal services.
He said that all possible steps were being taken to improve the revenue generation departments and every possible role would be played to bring improvement where there is chance for improvement.
He said that it was not true that any officer in the department is carrying out his duties uncontrollably, the officers are aware of their limits and constraints.
He asked officers for Ensuring the performance of duties otherwise disciplinary action would be taken against them in case of negligence in performing duty.
He directed the officers to continue their services for the betterment of department.
Whereas he appreciated the services rendered by the officers and staff of the concerned departments in the field for PSL Season Six and said that thanks to the joint efforts of the district and local body administrations, PSL Six issuccessfully underway at the National Stadium Karachi.
