Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batter, Mohammad Rizwan, showcased his exceptional skills once again during the ongoing Global T20 Canada 2023.

Representing Vancouver Knights, he continues to impress with his performance and scored consecutive half-centuries in the first two matches of the tournament.

After winning the toss and electing to bat first on Tuesday, Montreal Tigers struggled from the start of their innings, losing wickets at regular intervals and managed a mere score of 99 runs in the first innings.

During the chase, Vancouver Knights lost the early wicket of Fakhar Zaman for 4. However, Rizwan’s brilliant batting display in the second innings proved to be vital.

The 31-year-old played a remarkable, unbeaten knock of 68* off 54 deliveries, which included 10 fours and a six. His classical innings played a crucial role in securing victory for his team by nine wickets with 31 deliveries remaining.

Previously, in the match against Brampton Wolves, the 31-year-old displayed his value to the team as he scored unbeaten 52 runs off just 42 balls, which included two fours and three sixes.

The wicket-keeper batter single-handedly led Vancouver Knights to victory by nine wickets after successfully chasing down the target of 130 runs with 2.5 overs remaining.
