Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Giyan Chand Essarani arrived in Sangharar near Sukkur on Monday and met with the parents of Priya Kumari, a 7-year-old girl who went missing on 10th Muharam ul Haram.

He was accompanied by SSP Sukkur Irfan Samoon, DSP Huzoor Bakhsh Solangi, Vice President PPP Minority Wing Mukhi Odha Mal President PPP Minority Wing Sukkur Division Mukhi Eshwar Lal, District Sukkur President Vijay Jagwani. On this occasion Mukhi Nirmajan Talreja, Mukhi Prem Chand, Jetha Lal, Asha Ram , Pehlaj Essarani, Chetan Das and others were also present.

The Provincial Minorities Affairs Minister also met with the brothers of innocent Priya Kumari. The Provincial Minister assured the victim’s family that innocent Priya Kumari would be recovered soon adding that SSP Sukkur has been tasked to supervise the case investigation himself.

He added that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had given special instructions to Sindh government to ensure the protection of the minority community.
