Secretary Local Government Sindh, Mr. Roshan Ali Shaikh has said that the local government department is playing the key role to defeat Corona.

Secretary Local Government expressed his views on his recent visit to the Garbage Transfer Stations.  Speaking on the moment Mr. Shaikh said that the current phase of crises has doubled the responsibility of his department as it’s not only striving to manage the garbage disposal process but also performing the task of spraying anti-bacterial solutions on regular basis.

Briefing about the safety and Hygiene of Sanitary workers Secretary LG Sind informed,

“We have made it mandatory for every staff member to use the protective measures while performing the duties and Sind Government has already provided masks, sanitizers, gloves and other accessories in bulk”.

Speaking on the topic of resolving the civic issues of the citizens Mr. Roshan said,“We have trained staff available 24/7 on our designated help line 1093 which is responsible to record the feedback of the complainants after the resolution of the problem. Minister Local Government has emphasized to make the help line the most effective one”.

Secretary Local Government told that soon a unique addition would be made in the services chart of 1093, which will set a legendry example for others.
