Sindh Government behavior with Daily Wages Employees is appreciable, but the government should take interest in both daily wages and contract employees issues, Nadeem Khan Incharge of PSP Labour Federation Pakistan shared these views in a press statement.
Moreover, he stated that Work Charge Employees have first right for the redressal of their issues as they are performing their duties in the Karachi Development Authority for a long period.
Incharge Labour Federation further stated that We are struggling for the redressal of employees issues on every level and By the Grace of ALLAH in every department of Karachi Labour Federation workers are performing their work to resolve the issues of workers.
Appreciating the move of Chief Secretary regarding the regularization of daily wages employees but work charge employees of KDA which are more than 300, their issue needs to be resolved on a priority basis, he added.
Moreover he warned that if Government would neglect the said issue than the union would move to court for the legal action but would not let alone the work charge employees of KDA.
Furthermore, he expressed that Watan Parast Union is pursuing the case which is ongoing in Sindh High Court and the union has hope of justice from the judiciary that the judgment would announce soon for the resolution of employees and their family issues, who are facing a financial crisis.
In addition he expressed that Central Labour Federation of PSP is in contact with KDA Watan Parast Union and as per the instructions of our leader Syed Mustufa Kamal we will not let alone any worker in a difficult time and if the rights of workers undermine in any department then labour Federation would raise vice in a peaceful manner.
At last, he shared that Labour Federation Pakistan would defend the rights of labourers in every department of the country.
