MQM-Pakistan Labour Federation paid tribute to the martyrs of Chicago and decided to remember COVID-19 affectees in the prayers of May Day.
A Session of MQM-Pakistan Labour Division held at temporary office of party Bahadurabad, which was attended by Incharge and Members of Labour Division & United Labour Federation. Whereas Office Bearers from different Unions and CBA’s of Karachi were also present on the occasion.
Incharge Labour Federation and United Labour Federation in a joint statement the gathering and rally to commemorate international labour day has been cancelled due to the spread of COVID-19.
Moreover they added that along with the Martyrs of CHicago MQM-Pakistan would also remember Labour Leader Shehzad Mirza including other martyrs of party in the prayers regarding May Day.
Further they stated that the aim of celebrating this day is to remember the struggle of labour which started from Chicago. The Office bearers of Labour federation urged Government for the acceptance of every rightful demands of labourers in this difficult time .
