Public Hearing(Khuli Kachehri) holding Process would remain continue to provide relief to the citizens at their doorstep, Nasir Hussain Shah Minister Local Government share these views while presiding over a Khuli Kachehri on Saturday at Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Library Sachal Goth Union Committee 30 District East.
It was learned that on the directives of Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari , Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has directed all the ministers and advisors to hold Public Hearing in every district of the province.
Which aims to get knowledge about the public grievances and also to redress their issues on priority basis.
In the said Public Hearing Coordinator to Chief Minister Sindh Shehzad Memon, Deputy Commissioner East Ahmed Ali Siddiqui, Chairman DMC East Moid ANwer ,Additional Secretary Local Government, Municipal Commissioner KMC & DG KDA Saif ur Rehman, MD Karachi Water & Sewerage Board Asad Ullah Khan including Chairman UC 30 Ilyas Gabol , President PPP District East Iqbal Sandh, PPP Leaders Taj Muhammad Wassan, Liaquat Buledi , Officers of Municipal Departments, Police Officials, Sui Gas and K-Electric Officials and all other concerned department representatives were present in the meeting , however large number of people were present in the meeting to raise their concerns with the higher authorities.
Whereas it was observed that, Mola Baksh Chand Vice Chairman UC 30 and Lala Raheem Vice Chairman UC 31 are doing their efforts to resolve the issues of residents in their respective areas , development projects including laying of sewerage lines and carpeting of damage roads are ongoing because of the said public representatives efforts which also appreciated by the Minister Local Government in the Khuli Kachehri.
On the occasion peoples from sachal goth and other areas of district east have shared their concerns with the higher authorities. Citizens have specially informed about the issue of water shortage, electricity, Education, Sports, lease of area, Sale of drugs, Police attitude, shortage of Gas including others.
Moreover regarding the complaint of KW&SB, Nasir Hussain Shah on the spot directed officials of KWSB for the redressal of public grievances regarding their department, However he also added that we are here not just only to listen issues, our basic aim is to resolve the issues on priority basis.
Further he added that Pakistan Peoples Party Manifesto is to work and provide relief to all citizens without aim bias , haven’t think about that public of area haven’t voted in favor of our party so we haven’t want to do work in the said area , PPP Public representatives are delivering in each and every area of Sindh without any bias .
He also stated that, Some issues would resolve on the moment but some problems resolution would get some time, but we aren’t here for photo session so every public grievance would resolve.
While speaking at the gathering ,Iqbal Sandh PPP District East President stated that, This is not a Political Gathering but it is fact that this Khuli Kacheri held by the directives of Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari , he claimed that only Pakistan Peoples Party wants to resolve the issues of public no any other political party take interest in redressal of public grievances.
Moreover he said, PPP remain in contact with public, it face public protests and their opposition but the leaders of ppp always ready for the redressal of public grievances.
Don’t think that this is the last Khuli Kacheri , the process would remain continue to resolve public issues, he added.
