Watan Parast Labour Union KDA Patron in Chief Syed Imran Hussain Jafri in a press statement on Monday urged management for the payment of employee salaries and pension till 31st March due to the lockdown in Karachi over the threat of coronavirus spread.

Moreover, he asked DG KDA Dr. Saif ur Rehman to direct the Member Finance Qazi Abdul Qadir and Director Finance Atta Abbas to initiate the process of getting 200 Million grant from the provincial government on a priority basis.

Syed Imran Hussain Jafri stated that if the department would get a grant on a timely basis then at least employees from grade 1 to 15 and pensioners could get their payment before 31st March.

Further, he urged DG KDA for the redressal of Work charge and contract employees issue as they are facing a severe financial crisis due to the current lockdown situation in the city .

He demanded DG KDA for the payment of employees salaries on a priority basis so the employees could stay at their homes and purchase necessary items of basic home needs.
